  1. I swear by fixed gear in the snow. It’s the safest I’ve felt riding in slippery conditions. Something about having that full rotational control really gives you a sixth sense about slow torquing through the worst stuff.

  2. I rode a fixed gear working as a bicycle courier in Ottawa, Ontario for 4 years back in 1999. Most fun job I ever had, made 50km a day easy. Money not so much, lived in the park and on people’s balconies. it was nice being able to slam down any food I wanted at any time. Winters were an absolute blast.

Awesome build! I would recommend straps or toe cages to help with the control and skidzzz. Might seem scary at first if your not used to being more “locked in” but in my opinion its a night and day difference. Keep shredding.

Hey, I’ve got that same frame! Had it set up fixed for a little while too. Really fun ride.
