About me:

I’m Matt Robinson, a motoring journalist you may or may not have previously seen on the Car Throttle and Visordown YouTube channels. I’ve since moved on, but still fancied rambling on about motorcycles on the internet. Sorry about that.

  1. The bike Ducati should have built for the road, the "Supermono". Would have bought one in a heartbeat. If you study it next to a 999, you'll see the similarities.

  2. It’s a cool place, sadly the prep side of things is very poor. I bought a Ducati 749s Mono from there a few years ago and after being told it would be fully prepped, I turned up to collect a filthy bike with numerous problems.
They ended up buying the bike back from me (they had the cheek to sting me for delivery back to them) as they refused to fix a bad oil leak amongst other issues. Fine to buy a bike from if you are going to put it in your living room and never use it.
I purchased at the time the most expensive 749s in the country,
In the hope that it would be a great example and prepped to a decent standard.
I’m sure this doesn’t happen every time but my experience of the bike specialists was terrible. I’ve since bought about 5 bikes elsewhere and will never buy from here again 👍🏻

  3. Looking at the prices of these bikes I don't feel that bad having just spent over 8 grand for a near mint first gen SC28 Fireblade.

  4. All of these bikes are over priced. Most of them are not even collectable. If you buy that 748 for £8.5K like you kept saying you will be wasting £2.5k. You Can pick up a good one for £6k…. Motor Cycle YouTube shilling. Good Job, not…

  5. And some very rare Arai helmets too! Roberts yellow, Rothmans Spencer replica and a mid-collectable Doohan Reggae Chaser V. Excellent. @ClassicHelmetsYT

  6. No BUSINESS Person would want his money in all that "DEPRECIATING METAL" regardless of what badge . I wonder who is FUNDING IT as the interest been acrued weekly exceeds the profitability. All this BULL-SHIT obviously gives sombody the horn.

  7. From personal experience, brilliant people to deal with too – super knowledgeable, actual bikers and enthusiasts. I’m a racer, I’ve launched bikes and cars for manufacturers – I know the difference. And so do these guys. Visit – and judge for yourself 👌🏁

  8. This is slightly like a motorcycle version of Harry Enfield's Notting Hill antique emporium "I Saw You Coming".
The smarm and the syntax of the owner are past parody.
    The bikes are beautiful.
But the shit you'd have to wade through…. 😮

  9. That was a pure joy to watch! I love those classic Ducati's and other bikes from the late 90's . Bought a TL1000s this week😅. But the one i liked in this video was the Norton V4!

  10. Buy a lot of expensive, rare stock and you can artificially keep the prices high. I would suggest they don’t turn over much stock because they use it to keep their market buoyant and over inflated.
