😮 went through Richmond Great Park Saturday as a cut through to Ham to pick my daughter up Saturday…small world!
Cycle to Goring on Thames and follow the ridgeway to Avebury. Bike packed it several times. You’ll see a few Bronze Age forts, white horses , Wayland smithy( burial barrow of Wayland Saxon god of metal work), west kennet long barrow, Silbury hill( UKs pyramid) and Avebury stone circle. The ridgeway also joins up to several long distance cycle routes.
The steamed pastry really has you hooked eh? When it works, it works. I love beets and any pickle; actually healthy as well as tasty. Slice o' extra mature cheddar on that steamed wrap would complete it for me. Eat well bro, good sleep with a happy full belly

I'm an old British soldier.
I constantly think it would be good to bugger off and bivvy out for a week or month here and there.
Suppose I'm trained enough but I think the rest of society could gain appreciation and have to spend days out under a tarp or similar.
Give them a better view and appreciation of what it's like to live rough. Far too many being attacked or abused in todays society.
Not many take the time to see these people not their predicament.
I do appreciate many chose the life.
One old army mucker, a retired Para lived homeless down in Edinburgh.
He died homeless on the streets.
He didn't trust himself around his wife and kids after Afghanistan.
The ministry of defence and our government shit us out and all have to fight after giving half our life to queen and country.

Oooo a dog walker got curious about my blue tarp shelter it was 1pm on a Sunday, more out testing my new to ne 3 season sleeping bag eurohike 300 for 1 pound best squid ever spent. I stupidly got a 4mx5m tarp thinking ohh bigger is better 😂 school boy error. 10days off work soon ohh yes
You need to get a rake and strong sheers you will be able to prepare the camp ground much faster. In a deer park watch for tics to avoid Lime disease.
I think you could improve your food prep I understand you eat for survival but the food does not have to always look like growl. Maybe watch some basic cooking videos especially camping cooking. You buy good quality ingredients no need for the end product to look like slop.

I got a bike and bike packing luggage etc but haven't been well enough to try it yet you do well Cos you've got decent kit,log layers,Kyle yeti and slim sam use total shite spend more save longer cheap yes any good no why a high end tent can be round 1000 so a 35 quid china special tent isn't gonna be grand is it ,plus decent kit lasts I've fallraven pants and stuff years old been lived in 24,7 abused never lost a stitch only thing wore hole in pockets after about 6 year easy fix yet a pair primary primarko pants look same but last 2 weeks 😂😂😂
