    It’s a hitch for a bicycle trailer I believe. You can remove it, but it’s likely one part with the axle, so you’ll need a new axle.

    Looks to be part of your thru-axle or qr skewer. Likely for a trailer or pannier rack. To remove it would mean getting another axle/skewer that didn’t have that attachment.

    It’s a thru axle coupler for a bicycle trailer, from the looks I’d guess it’s for Croozer. You can remove it and replace it with a normal thru axle for your bike.

    I thought it is some sort of transportation spacer or something. I’ll keep it there.

    I would replace it with correct axle. If it is for trainer use it might not be safe for road use.

  6. I’ve got some on my bike. It’s for a trailer. The trailer is the one of my favourite bike accessories. Safe to remove if you don’t have a trailer, but you will need to replace them with something else.
