  1. Loving these restoration projects! Thank you for taking the time to show us, from a fellow East Anglian 😊 One question – what do you do with the bikes after you have restored them?

  2. Yuck center pull breaks and cotter pins, still a much better bike as they got crap, one time back in the late 80s aquired a Raleigh Banana for free, one time in Cambridge at a bike shop the owner was so impressed that I had one mint as he told me how they deteriorate and within a couple of years saw the paint bubbling then the crank arm falling off….that was another time miles from home but an old garage chap helped me out with some loctite and went another 200 miles amazing ! Shame looked nice I will stick to my Raleigh Palm Beach the sand version and dynamo still working its amazing how heavy that back wheel is. Had that from 1977 my first bike for work and went to Hull back in 79 it took all day but what a bike, I wish I still had my perents biike being the Palm Beach blue sky/sea and that fab totone saddle.

  3. Only a 5 speed??? Cheaper model? I remember my cables not lasting like the new ones now, they had unpadded fabric bar tape. My Grand Prix from the late 60's had pop off wheels

  4. I bought a Europa in 1973 after saving my pocket money for over a year. It had Simplex Delrin derailleurs and the front one never worked properly no matter how many times i adjusted it. It was a great looking bike though.

  5. Почему обычную мойку и техническое обслуживание велосипеда,вы называете реставрация? Зачем обманывать людей?
