Was going to swap the deore dx parts over to my Bridgestone mb5 and sell it again because this is an 18inch frame and I’m 5’11… but I actually liked how it rides maybe not long distance bike but I felt it could be use as a city cruiser hopping curves and bump jumping things…. What changes can I make to it to fit that purpose ??

Those wheels are rare
I have that exact frameset in 22.5. Be aware that it’s a 1” steerer unlike some other Treks of that era. If I were you I wouldn’t change the fork (it’s quite decent and suits your goals) so it wouldn’t matter.
There’s not much you’d need to do. Lube and clean everything, def service the headset and bb, and very likely the wheels haven’t been touched either. Then just new rubber better suited to your urban needs!
Maybe v-brakes and levers if you prefer? That means new shifters too, but I’d keep the 3x drivetrain. Personally I’d keep the cantis and just put new pads on.
Personally I love having a more upright position on my pub runner Kona lava dome. It’s in the range of 18.5-19” and I’m 6’ so about the same sizing fun. I put a wider seat, bmx bar, and front rack on it. For rides within 10 miles with the wife and kid it’s a blast to bop around neighborhoods on.
ETA; I have continental double fighter 3’s on mine and they’re great for pavement and gravel/grass. Tried them a bit on single track covered in leaves/pinestraw and they definitely lacked…but that’s what happens when it becomes a pub bike.
