    My guess is it’s a casing difference. They make the mezcal in XC-Race, XC-Trail and XC.

    Probably rubber compound and weight. Check Victoria’s website for details.

  3. xc trail is the heavy duty casing with more sidewall protection. the tnt is lighter and less durable.

    That website didn’t list them very well. Although vittoria like any tire manufacturers is pretty good about being confusing as well. 

    Xc-trail is a later casing of the tire not the black anthracite colored version. 

    These are the same tires if they are both black anthracite colored. These only difference would be the size. 

    Went through these shenanigans a couple months ago. My friend got a middle version that’s not the new casing and not the grey walled version that is even more confusing. Emailed vittoria and they were super helpful and the tires blew her mind at how much better they weee than maxxis rekons. She proceeded to bikepack 2300 miles on them without a single issue.

    So yeah where are you seeing them at this price?
