I (20F) am utterly obsessed with this specific bike’s design and I can’t get over it. The problem is this is a 24 inch, which from my understanding is meant for children. However when I looked it up 24 inch can be large enough if it’s a cruiser bike? I’m not familiar with bike knowledge and this is my first bike since childhood. I searched the entire website, looked for this brand on other store websites but none of them have this bike in a larger size. So my question is, I’m 5’5 (65 inch), is there any chance I can ride this bike without killing my knees? Or maybe is there anything I can do to make the bike rideable for me? Obviously I can raise the seat and handles, but is that enough?

Any and all advice is welcome, I just seriously need a way for me to ride this bike!!

The height on the product page shows 58-70 inches so it should be fine. 24” is the tire size. It IS still a “kids bike” but you’ll probably fit on it. It’s going to be heavy and annoying to ride for more than a few blocks.

  2. If part of you imagines riding the bike further than the length of a football field, you will eventually fall out of love with that bike quickly. As others have said, that is a bicycle shaped object. Don’t let your height convince you that a kids bike could be made to work; get something made for an adult. Get something with an aluminum frame and rims. Gears and hand operated brakes are a must. If the bike has rim brakes, make sure the braking surface is raw aluminum; rubber brake pads clamping on a painted rim will always make a terrible noise.
