  1. IKR? People who want to move to France from the US frequently say they won’t look at Nice because it’s so expensive & I’m thinking, “in what world?”
    Sure, if you want to live in a rural part of France, housing will be cheap. But, there’s the cost of owning a car. Plus, gas prices are about double what they are in the U.S.

  2. You are right about prices in Nice being a surprise compared to living in the US.
    The side benefit of being in a pedestrian city is that walking is healthy for you rather than driving in a car to do shopping trips. It does take a leap of faith to make the jump to living in Nice.
    One of the many factors that makes Nice so beautiful is how blue the Mediterranean Sea looks while walking the Promenade!
    If you love blue sky and sunshine, Nice could be an option for you!
