I took a solo trip to England! I started with a visit to The Wood’s Cyclery in Lyndhurst and drooled over so many amazing steel bikes. It was a real treat seeing so much alt bike goodness from brands like Stooge Cycles, Brother Cycles, Rune Bikes, Stayer Cycles, Singular Cycles, Rivendell Bikes, Bassi Bikes, and more! They set me up with a Ritchey Ascent so I could ride the New Forest area. This ended up being a huge highlight of my trip, and now I can say I rode with free roaming Ponies. Before making my way to London I visited Stonehenge, and also learned about Falconry on a hawk walk. I made friends with falcons and owls, and then headed back to London and explored the Peckham Rye neighbourhood and got a tattoo at Old Habits in Hackney.

Nice video 😀 I'm toying with the idea of having a 2-wheeled break in the New Forest – but it's one of many ideas competing for limited resources. I used to spend a lot of time in the New Cross area and it was good to see the Bussey Building in Peckham – brought back memories from a few years ago seeing Big Boss Man (UK band) play there.
Good coffee in England!!! Who would have thought…now it’s safe for me to revisit.
wow it looked like an oregon or Washington forest for a second there with what looked like a big cedar tree and fir trees
Pfft, I’m chilling here watching this and not riding because it’s foggy and a bit chilly out. I’m going for a ride, I’ll finish this later. Thanks for the inspiration 🤙
Super cozy vid! That bike ride looked amazing.
I love these videos
This ones a treat. Thanks for taking us with you!
Heading there next month and this gets me really excited! Love your travel vidyas
Aloha! Wow! That was a big ink piece! Saved your video to my travel playlist. Mahalo 🤙🏽
I always like to live vicariously through your videos, so it was weird and fun to see you in my part of the world! Hope you had a great visit with your bestie.
A trip jam-packed with awesomeness. As always, loved the bike content, but the additional art and tattoo tour stuff was great.
Great work covering your trip! It always inspiring see your travels and how you integrate bikes into them.
You guys get up to some cool adventures 🙂 I like bikes and coffee, but it's cool to see what else you like too

Hey so there's a book called "H is for Hawk" by Helen MacDonald where she talks about her relationship and experience with a ghost hawk! It was a super interesting read and what was cool was at the time I was reading it, I went to the Renaissance faire and saw the hawk show! It was super cool and put a lot of it into perspective
sweet, and LX brake levers 👍👍
My kind of people. Instant subscribe.
"Roaming Ponies" might need to be the name of my new garage punk band. I'm sure nobody else has ever had that idea. 🤣
Spent two days riding New Forest and it was awesome.
What size camera bag are you using?
I live about 12 miles away and in summer get in some 6am bike rides in the early morning!
New Forest is a part of the world that's been getting a lot of positive buzz lately. I've been wanting to go since reading Cass Gilbert's write ups on Bikepacking. Am jealous of your visit to Woods Cyclery.😅
I am grateful for your video! Enjoyed watching and thank you for sharing your trip.
Thanks Emma!
A bicycle without mudguards is just incomplete…
Lucky 🐈⬛😸
At least that Forrest doesn't have grizzlies lol
Wow, you really just find the coolest places!
Great vid! If you come back to the UK national cycle route 403 passes through Avebury (the huge Neolithic stone circle with a village inside it).
❤
Thank you! What you did will be part of my U.K. bucket list. I loved seeing you have such a good time!
The Commoners who ‘own’ the ponies have had several historic rights over the New Forest. As well as grazing they had the right of pannage, to release pigs in The autumn to eat acorns, the right of turbary, to cut peat for fuel, the right of estovers, to collect dead wood for firewood and the right of marl to dig up clay-rich soil. A landscape steeped in history.
Great video! To be honest, that's the best guide to places to go in the South of England and London I've seen in a long time, and I'm from London!
Really enjoyed the travel vlog showing bikes and so much more
that raw finished frame!
