  1. I’d recommend following a guide to determine thread pitch n all that. First photo is blurry but it definitely looks like the guiding thread could be stripped/flattened.

    not a freehub.

    any 5,6,7,8 speed freewheel will work, the thread pitch is one of the few things in the cycling world that is “universal”

    buy a freewheel with as many gears as your shifter..

    The hub in the photo is not designed to take a freehub. It’s a freewheel hub, it will only accept a freewheel. So you can’t install a cassette on that wheel.
