    Strip the clamp? Try adding some of that gritty seatpost sauce to help the post stay locked in better.

    It looks like you have tooooons of room left to tighten that clamp, so maybe you just need to tighten it harder? Do you have a torque wrench available?

    Edit: also the clamp might be upside down. For most clamps, there is an inner lip that should be at the top, and sits on top of the frame hole. If it’s upside down you won’t get proper clamping.

    Could it be that seat tube needs a sleeve to fit that seatpost?

    If so, then you can measure both (inside seat tube diameter) and the seatpost (outside diameter) and then get a sleeve that makes it snug and tight (when torqued to spec) and without damaging anything or having the seatpost slip.

    Using measuring calipers would be helpful when finding those two diameters.

  5. Clamp is usually supposed to face backwards unless this is some weird frame I’m not aware of

    If you have some vernier callipers measure the seat post to make sure it’s the correct size for your new frame.
