So cool to see my local(ish…) area through international eyes! The New Forest is such a fantastic gravel playground, and The Woods is the perfect bike shop for it. They built up my Peregrine a few years ago, and have always been super helpful when I’ve needed anything else.
My first cycling trip to the New Forest was with my brother and it was absolutely chucking it down. We were hacking across some boggy heathland bridleway and suddenly a herd of like 100 ponies galloped across right in front of us, it was like something out of a Western (apart from the sheeting rain). Me and my mates also got kind of trampled by a group of very confused New Forest ponies on a stag do group ride last summer…
