most mainstream brands being fast fashion isn't an excuse to not care about child nor is it a gotcha moment to point it out when people criticize shein. its so much more sustainable to buy second hand, you can find the same brands without putting more money in these companies pockets or even better you can thrift flip + if you can afford it, shop reputable and sustainable brands

I'm 100% against fast fashion and prefer thrifting garments, while I won't confront someone about buying shein or what not, I'm slightly dissapointed seeing it, but its my fault for expecting better from people.
Actually the best items i have (thrifted) are from shein or temu. I absolutely LOVE my denim vest and hate me but i got myself a brown one as well. I barely wash them and i put it on the shirt so it doesn't impact water or my skin. I also dont support what the brands do and i highly avoid buying cheap shit from these sites, but remember H&M, Zara and other gigants do the same and they are socially accepted. I just want to have a nice garment I'll actually wear and not throw out after a week. Its the brands that should be responsible for pollution and ruining ecosystem not average people.
in my opinion I think yall are doing way too much. not everyone knows or has the time to diy. not everyone has access to a thrift store. and besides, almost everything is made via child labor so why is shein different?
