My local bike shop just installed these slr aero integrated handlebars today. This is my first time using carbon handlebars, so wasn't sure if this discoloration was normal. It is only on the right side and the seam is also visible where it isn’t on the left side, but it’s all smooth to the touch. Is this a cause for concern?
edit: the more I look, I can make out the seam across the entire handlebar, but it’s very faint on the left side.

That’s the nature of the carbon build process. If it’s not painted, you’ll see seams and edges of the carbon sheets used to make the handlebar/seatpost/wheels etc.
It’s not a cause for concern if everything is uniform.
Just like every other post about it in every bike subreddit, this is normal for CF. Search and you’ll find countless examples
