Well done Stu 😁👏👍 I'm still very new to CX and one of the things I've learnt is to carry your bike on your shoulder when running (uphill or flat) so you can run more efficiently and naturally, rather than pushing your bike 😊👍
Well done Stu and your co-competitors, I was thinking it was going to be a mudbath given the rain we've had. It's always great to try out something new, I remember my first mountain bike race, probably around 2017 on my Marin, 26 inch wheels, that was hairy. I watched the whole video, great to capture the action and atmosphere of the race. You'll be miles quicker next time I reckon:)
The wind and that mud would be brutal and I’d just fall over lol. My last tri I was on prepping on the bike and crashed while trying to make a U-turn…forget I was clipped in🤦♀️
Where was this at Stu? I’ve done a few CX races in Hull at Costello stadium. 47 mins with avg HR 168. Threw my guts up after lol. Would love do another
Congratulations on your first CX. It is an amazing sport and a ton of fun. Wish it was more popular here in Canada. Granted out courses would never have the mud you have, which makes these races as you mention tough, but so much fun. Cheers!
The wind is always strong at this venue, trick is to get aero along the top of that long muddy bank at the end of the lake. Great fun isn't it 😂 … might have you on my footage , the guy you might have been racing against puts his gopro films from races on YouTube, Mark Tries I think he calls himself.

The secret has got to be low gear high cadence? Looks super hard work! 👏👏👏
Wow that does look tough. Great training and justification for post-race 🍰 cake 😀

I think I may stick with trail running, a little less to clean that way 😂
Mate good on ya in doing that. It's the mud that puts me off haha. Well done and it's a totally different ball game that!
Well done guys, what looks hard to one is easy for another. Just a case of unlocking the levels and you will all get there
Right on my door step, that’s where I do me open water swimming . Well done !
Great video, that looks a lot tougher than running, well done 🔥🔥
Great work Stu! I'm very tempted to give the gravel bike a crack in a cross race, maybe in the New Year. Awesome to see you out there smashing it!
That looks like hard work but fun to ,well done to you all
Did well not to hit the deck!! Looked good fun.
Fair play Stu, good job! More racing to come?

Great vid Stu! Looks great fun, think I would be pushing the bike more than cycling it if I gave that course a go 😂 Well Done!
