I was Just Riding Along on my fixed gear bike when my non drive crank just suddenly bent on me. Went right into the chainstay so its impossible to actually ride.
Ended up getting a lime bike home and carried my own bike on my shoulder.
I dont really have any further comments but it sure was funny. Other crank seems OK. Just as well this didn't happen at 3am on the Dunwich dynamo.

At least that’s the cheapest side to fuck up. With a crank extractor, you can one arm it home
did you do a skid
The only situation where non-fixed would’ve been better, I guess. Hope you’re back on the road soon 🤙🏼
Punishment from fixed gear gods for not using foot retention
Update: pulled the reflective tape and heli tape off and wow it has just straight up cracked. Yowza

Did you buy the crank (or complete bike) used with that reflective tape on it? Maybe the crank had already been crashed into something and someone else was covering a small dent/crack?
