My mother is on dialysis and needs a kidney transplant. We have these bikes that we want to sell to help with whatever comes next. These are dad’s old bike he can’t ride anymore due to health issues. Could anyone help us understand what we could sell these for and where? We thought about bringing them into a shop to get them tuned up but we don’t know where to start. We don’t know anything about bikes =(
Any and all advice is much appreciated. Please remove if not allowed.

This is pretty old. I’d list it on FB marketplace for like a couple of hundred
First blk bike is nicest bike you have. You can sell it for $1000. Second green Trek probably $150-$250. Thirs bike Marin if tire size is 27.5 or 29er you can sell it for $600. If tiree size is 26 probably around $400. Yoi can sell bicycle on facebook Marketplace.
They aren’t going to make any kind of dent in the medical bills, tuning them up you might even lose money. You’d be lucky if you ended up with $1500 selling all of them.
Yeah, getting them tuned will not help – it’s a diminishing returns thing. I agree with the first couple of comments – it would be fortunate if all three sell for $1500. FB marketplace or Craigslist are best. Be sure to post good photos of all sides of each bike and note size of each bike.
Trek 520 is still a popular choice for a touring bike, makes an OK gravel bike and excellent commuter. With racks and Brooks saddle, $400 is a very reasonable price.
It helps that its a nice color and medium-ish size. I’d list for $500 with good pics and see what happens.
