Only the quick link sticks to the chainring, all brand new parts, only “cycled” on stand . Chain is SHIMANO 6100 and the quiclink is 910. Chainring is Aliex.
Pedaling backwards is causing the quick link to stick.

12spd quiklink is narrower.

You said chainring is from Aliexpress? maybe that’s it. Personally I’d just ride it and see if I notice it. It might even fix itself

not sure if this is the issue but the arrow on the quicklink should be pointing forwards.

Is the quick link on the wrong way? It looks like the arrow is facing the back of the bike, I’ve never installed one backwards but maybe that’s causing it?

You’ve got the quicklink on backwards. There’s an arrow on it. The one on the outside of the chain should be pointing in the direction of forward pedaling.

put on a 11 speed quick link. Some chainrings are finicky with 12speed or try a KMC 12speed quick link.

Oriented the wrong way, look at the arrow. Need a new quick link.
That is what you call the narrow-wide chainring. The blue arrow points to wide tooth and the red arrow points on narrow tooth. Try to move the chain one slot forward or backward. Every other link is wider than the next. Hope this helps.

If you’ve moved the chain round so the link is on a different part of the chain ring & it does the same, then it’s probably the quick link is the problem!
