decathlon stuff works pretty well, wouldn’t expect this to be any different

  2. I’ve ordered this one and returned. I didn’t like the build quality and the plastic frame inside which hold the bag in shape broke after testing the capacity of the bag. I can’t have something so fragile as a bag, it looked fine, just don’t like the purple accents. Also it wasn’t very deep and the framing kept it close which was hard to access.

  3. This looks interesting. Tho i don’t quite get it if i am honest. It shows a width of 42 cm, but then on the bottom right it fits between 35 cm dropbars. I am looking for something to fit my 38 cm bars.

  4. With decathlon, it’s usually hit or miss. When “hit”, their products are totally awesome.

Here it seems it’s not waterproof, which is a big bummer for me. The fixation system doesn’t looks like very firm or solid (especially if you do offroad), and possibly too close to the handlebars.

I have the chance to have the Ortlieb Handlebar-Pack Plus – the variant with a separate handlebar mount (sold separately), to be able to get the bag in and out in 2seconds. And I think it’s the best bike bag I have ever had.

… but it’s about twice the price :-/

I did thousands of km with it, sometimes on very rough paths and climates. Contrary to other similarly-priced brands, Ortlieb never deceived me.
