I'm looking for "quick change" fenders for my Canyon allroad. I saw that Canyon brought out those (https://www.canyon.com/en-at/gear/accessories/fenders-and-mudguards/canyon-defend-endurace-al-allroad-fender-set/10015330.html), but they look like you have to remove the wheel to bring them on/off (am I wrong? any insights on that?). Also they weight 1.5kg, which seems a lot to me, and I don't love the optic.

Any experiences with other fender models with quick release function (such as the Toppeak Defender Tx) on the Allroad? Pics would also be great! 🙂 thanks a lot!!

SKS Raceblades paired with a mudflap is the only thing that fits the bill

PDW do some sweet road bike mudguards but their a faff to change

  2. Those Canyon fenders are not “quick release”, they have a mechanism to disconnect if a branch or something gets caught in there, but they are semi-permanent mount.

As the other poster said, SKS quickrelease line is what you need:

    Raceblade or SpeedRocker.

PDW only meets your needs in the Origami line, which are essentially ass savers.

ETA: Those Topeaks are also not quick release.

If you’re in EU, SKS is the way to go.
