I am buying these two older 6speed Bromptons from 2004. They mostly sat around and are in great/new condition. I like some recommendations for both upgrades/maintenance whatever you think is necessary or not as well as things to look out for.

Your best option is to sell one to me at a very steep discount
They look quite complete.
Use them a few days and find out if you miss anything.
I got a bag for the front block, because I prefer not to carry a backpack while biking.
I do a lot of multi-modal comutes and travels, therefore I rolle mine often folded with a bag on it. That’s why I have eazy wheels and waiting for a wheel extension for better stability while being im shopping cart mode.
The best upgrade you could do for a reasonable cost is to replace the brake calipers with the newer dual pivot models. They’re a massive improvement. New levers would also help.
The biggest issue you’re going to have is that both bikes are fitted with the Sachs rear hub, which is now obsolete, and you’ll find it almost impossible to find replacement 6 speed sprockets. The easiest way is just to replace the entire wheel, using the newer deep section rim. You may as well replace the front wheels at the same time, as the newer rims are much easier to remove and fit the tyres.
If they’ve been standing for some time the suspension blocks may have hardened, so check them out. The cables may also need replacing. Replacing the chain usually means replacing the sprockets (see above!) so don’t do that yet. Tyres may also need replacing. Go for Schwalbe Racer or Marathon.
Also give the saddles a good dose of Brooks saddle cream!
