Dunno if some people here are aware but there is a guy called mull3mechanic on instagram that host a Cheap Bike Build Off Challenge every year, and this was my take on it. Basically you have to build a bike with a budget of 175$. You can see the bike before in the pics.

A very respectable British Eagle step through vintage mountain bike that got a small makeover. No need to go crazy, a good proper service, cleaning every parts well, and a few upgrades: new handlebar with personality, some famous tyres (aka Schwalbe Billy Bonkers), some cool Oury grips, a Turbo saddle (for the look not for comfort) and a very nice retro Stronglight 80 crankset. Bike feels like a new machine now!
