You don’t even need to get it checked. That is an impact failure and it’s not really worth trying to fix. You can get buy extremely high quality Chinese replacement rims like XMCarbonSpeed, Zen, DFS, BTLOS, CarbonBikeKits for about $140 + shipping. If you get a 50mm rim, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to reuse the old spokes. Labor might cost $100 + $5 for new brass nipples.
So basically they are basically cheap plastic. Seems counterintuitive but I have a BMX background and I’ve seen the hay day of 35-40 pound bikes. My back hurts.
