The bike's an old and rusty Apollo Elyse that sat outside in my partner's back garden for years because their mum didn't ride anymore after getting her eMTB. It's surprisingly in good nick despite the fact that they don't really maintain their bikes.
The front light is an AXA Blueline 50, the rear light is an AXA Slim, and the dynamo is an Anlun one which was the cheapest one I could find on UK Amazon with a rubber roller, because plastic rollers just don't engage with the wheel on this. It works pretty well.
I also put a nice Racktime rack on it because the old stock pannier was rusty and looking kinda gross. The tubes used on it were also really skinny, so I couldn't use any of my pannier bags on it. Haven't got any pics of it outside yet – just pictures of it sat in my ugly conservatory

Oh yeah, the shifters are unfortunately grip shift, so I gotta change them out at some point.
Bottle dynamo gang 👋
Bottle dynamos are a technology that should not have been abandoned and they are kind of great even when they are shitty. I used to use one on my 6 mile (one way) commute. No complaints.
These dynamos are unregulated trash. When I say unregulated I refer to the voltage produced. A decent dynamo will have voltage regulation built into it and cost more. This device will output more voltage with more speed and fry devices.
If you really want a dynamo, bite the bullet and buy a wheel that has one in the hub.
Nice, awesome you can still run these lights on a bottle dynamo, not all modern lights work with them.
imo a way better choice than battery powered lights.
Dangerous as hell.
Stop or slow down too much and your light goes out.
