  1. Sick!! I had one of these for a few months before tossing it on marketplace. Loved it, but wanted to finally get a modern mtb. These things ride beautifully! If you’re bored, you can see mine in my post history

  2. Awesome!
    Just a few ideas –

    Maintenance:
-consider taking to a bike shop for a tune up. The gears may need indexing if you find it’s not shifting well, and they can inspect things for you…but depending on your region a tune up may cost more than the bike itself

-may need new brake pads which are very cheap and easy to replace but could save your life

-Get some chain lube (dry or wet condition lube, depending on your local climate). Lube it about once a month, It’ll make your gears a lot smoother and ride quieter

-get a mini pump for the go that you can clip onto your top tube (ideally with a psi gauge), and I have an electric pump that I keep at home with a psi gauge too

-if you don’t decide to get a bike shop tune up cheap chain checker tool and replace chain once it stretches out (reduces wear and tear of your drivetrain and keeps your shifting smooth).

    Other:
Bike bag to store a spare tube (not sure what size those tires are so you’ll have to match the tube to the tire), patches, some tire levers. Also get some various tools for quick repairs that you can do at home.

If you use it to commute, consider some rear and front fenders for puddles and rainy days
