I’m still not 100% sure what an xbike is, but I’ve almost certainly created one. 2015 Specialized AWOL with a recent 1×11 Deore conversion. 36° flared drops, friction bar end, and a Wald basket completes the picture. The 1×11 has really given the bike a new personality!

The AWOL is such a great bike. I wish Specialized hadn’t killed it off. My Sequoia is fun, but not as slick as an AWOL.
