Sorry for the weird question, but something weird happened to me. I left my bike for 2 weeks in the hall of our building, and when I returned both tires were flat. After changing the inner tubes, I noticed these 2 cuts on both front and rear tire. Do you think it might have happened by itself, or do they look man made? Bike is a decathlon VTT, 4 years old, ridden only in the city (I commute with it but don’t use it too much). I am asking because I have a problem with someone who lives in my building so wondering if it could have been him.

I vote yes. Especially since it’s on both tires.
I see criminal hands in this. If the bike was left in a public place I’d say yes.
Possible, but this hole is quite exactly on a line where stiffness can change.
Edit: the second one really looks like a cut, not a tear.
I mean, how else would they be damaged when sitting in a hallway?
And on both tires?
Logic says someone did that to it.
Don’t know for sure, but cutting without damaging inner tubes seems difficult to me.
