Hi everyone,

Just came home from a ride and wanted to clean my bike right away.

I noticed airbubbles coming out of the front and rear wheel valves. This was after I sprayed the bike clean, applied soap and hosed it off again.

The bike is set up tubeless.

Is this normal or is something wrong?

Did not checked with a pump yet but the tires still feel like they have the same pressure as when I started my ride.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Tubeless setups are completely new to me.

Thanks in advance!

Are these tubeless valves correctly installed?

  1. You’ve got air leaking into the rim. This is often an issue with your rim tape.

Pull the tire and check the tape. It should go from rim wall to rim wall and overlap a few spoke holes, typically on each side of the valve. There should be no tears, puckers, leaks to spoke holes, etc.
