I've had this CycleOps Magnus indoor bike trainer for several years now. I do not remember it being as loud as it is now when I first got it, though.
The sound is loud enough to quickly and completely fill a large room. Even behind a closed door, its sound carries throughout our (2000+sf) house.
It's loud and buzzy/squeaky. It's made this sound for a while now, but this morning it felt much louder – though it's admittedly been like 8 months since I really last used it before today.
Should I be oiling it somehow?

Not familiar with the Magnus, but that entire style of trainers are known to be pretty loud.
Are you using the same tire as you have in the past? Tire contact will effect sound.
