Hit some 4wd trails and wound around through a tributary canyon of the Green River. A bighorn sheep ram and I met at a bottleneck in the canyon- he casually leapt up the side of the canyon and paid me no mind. Camp there was colder than I anticipated (20°F or -7°C) but otherwise the weather was sunny with nearly zero breeze. It took forever to pack the boat and load the bike in the morning, but it was completely worth it. I floated/paddled for about three hours before paralleling an old mining road, which lead out of a canyon up to the plateau above. Amazing weather, amazing trip.

Nothing reminds me of how out of shape I’m in than riding through sand.
