2 years ago, when I was still new to mtb. I came to this park and saw this gap. I thought "wow, thats intense. I'll NEVER be able to do something gnarly like that". Here i am. 2 years later. The courage to accomplish this feature. The realization that I am stronger than I think. The excitement of what the future holds for me. Im elated.

Nice work on progressing. Keep it up man.
I’m like you. I’m more conservative. I don’t really agree with the “just send it” crowd. Seen too many people get hurt. I like how you showed your process in the video of evaluating the feature and making sure you would not get hurt. Way to go
Hell ya brother!
Super happy for you!
Nice!! That had to feel good.
Kudos!
How did you get to that point?
I’m trying to work up to jumps.
Well done! Taking it at your own pace makes you a better rider.
I’m so happy for you, this video and your reaction made my day! Congratulations!
Congrats! that’s awesome.
You just described the feeling that keeps almost every rider, no matter their level, coming back to this sport we love! You’ll think about this moment a week/month/year from now while you’re randomly taking a shit and it’ll still make you smile. Congrats man, that’s awesome!
Personal risk tolerance hits differently when you’re well over 40, with a mortgage and family obligations. Nicely done.
Nice that you were able to conquer your fears and hit something that used to intimidate you. I’ll be honest, your form made me a little nervous. You’re absorbing the jump with your knees and landing back wheel down which could lead to trouble. Keep working on that form and extend the legs through the jump and you’ll be good.
Slayed it!!
So funny how small shit looks on camera huh?
Cool!
Untuck it before you send 👚
Accurate
Progression is an amazing feeling. Congrats
