I am thinking about getting into gravel biking and have come across this Trek Checkpoint SL7 Gen 2 (with Ultegra Di2 and GRX components). I am wondering if this bike is worth the asking price of $2.5k?
Seller says the mileage is about 1,500, and the components are in pretty good condition. I am just new to gravel biking and not too sure about carbon fiber frames (I'll mostly ride on road and light gravel)
Here is the seller's description:
Trek checkpoint sl 7 Gen 2. I built this bike with Shimano Ultegra and GRX Di2 components. Comes with a battery charger. The front and rear derailleurs and crankset 172.5 are Ultegra, and the shifters and disc brake are GRX. Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3v wheelset with Continental Terra Speed 700×35 tires. Bontrager RL handlebars. Thomson seatpost
Note: Frame has a few scratches inside the chain stays and above the crank on the left side. The frame is carbon with an IsoSpeed decoupler and internal storage
