Looking for a bike to get into cycling

Hi everyone, like the title says I'm looking for recommendations for a model as my first bike. I'm looking to get a bike mainly for leisure, maybe commuting with the ability to potentially do up to 30km ish rides for exercise too. My riding experience is basically nil so looking for something that's comfortable and gives me confidence to begin with. I've been recommended many hybrid flat bar models with the specialized sirrus being a common suggestion. The attached listing is for the specialized sirrus sport 2019 model, currently listed at $550 AUD on marketplace. Just wondering if this is suitable and also good value or if I should keep looking. Everything in the photos looks in good condition apart from the rusty chain. Thanks!
