Thanks to everyone who helped me choose the Ocean Blue C-Line 12 speed.
I took her from home to the station in minutes. Folded her up in seconds. Rode with her at my feet while reading and watching traffic in LA slog alongside us. The transfer was seamless. And the ride to get to the bar was even fun. All told, just a bit under an hour — just faster than what google predicted our driving time would have been…and that didn't include the walking/parking.
The commute home was a bit of a zoo, because of police action somewhere along the line. But, I had reading material and just kept working. Not perfect, but not the dead loss it would have been had I been in traffic after an accident slows things to a crawl.
The best moment was while waiting on the transfer platform. A cool looking T-Line rolled past. I didn't get my camera out in time, but as I panned to the right to try and catch it, another blue C-line came into view. I said "I guess we're everywhere." He laughed and got on the other train.
Close to perfect first commute. The bike did exactly what it was supposed to do. I think I need a slightly longer seat post, and want to figure out how best to make it roll in shopping mode, but I'm happy. Again, thanks.

Cool pics, but I’ve got to ask, what the heck is that station? 😅 10 lanes of traffic is EXACTLY where I’d expect to find public transport. I assume you played human Frogger to get there? 🤣
I’ll never complain about London stations again!
