I have two options. They both fit my size. The trek Fx 7.2 seems older and the brake handle is broken but I know how to fix it. The owner is willing to seek it for $40 to me. The trek verse 3 is in better condition from what I can tell and the price for that one is $300. I don’t mind spending extra on the verse 3 but was wondering if it’s worth it. When I looked into it I found the verse is for comfort and people use it for shorter rides or just to lightly cruise while the FX is sportier and better positioned for performance. I am 25m and relatively athletic. I used to cover around 100 miles a week when I used to ride before my bike broke. I really enjoy just speeding around town and going on long rides. Because of this I was originally leaning to getting an FX bike for performance but now Im wondering if I should just get a verse cause of the better condition. What would y'all recommend and is there that much difference in the riding styles of a verse and a fx.

Two very different rides and the FX makes much more sense. The Verve is definitely upright and more focused on comfort,
