My brand new Cube Attain C:62 SLT fresh from the shop sounds like someone is torturing a guinea big when turning the handle bar. This only occurred after the first ride. Will putting some wet lube between the frame and fork help or do damage? How else can I try to solve this problem before going to the LBS again?😅

Does it make the same noise when standing planted on two wheels?
Either they forgot to apply some greese or there is to much tension on the top cap bolt which is also responsible for preloading the bearings.
It sound like your headset is dry, which is quite often the case on brand new Cube bikes
If your LBS provides a free first service it could be the perfect time to ask them to grease the headset
If not, lube is not going to help is, it’s going to drip down disolving the little grease there is
Get your headset properly greased and it should be ok
It sounds like maybe the top cap dragging on the frame. The headset might need a micro shim to space it a bit more.
