I’m happy you posted this here, I’ve been cycling and working on bikes (my own and volunteering 4hr/wk fixing others) basically my whole life and I’ve literally never seen damage like this before, wow.

Man that’s crazy. I’m still riding my 30 year old chromoly bike. 3rd set of rims though lol. They just don’t make em like they used to eh, cost thousands too instead of hundreds. You would think by the price of bikes that inflation was 10x but it’s only about 2x to 4x. Too bad the wage hasn’t even gone up 2x
