  1. I think there’s a problem with your tape. What tape are you using, how suited is it to the rim width and how experienced are you at taping?

It’s common. But the stuff literally seals leaks. Inflate before riding. You’ll be fine. It should stop eventually.

  3. It looks like something isn’t sealing correctly on your tire. Are you sure your tape was done correctly? Is your bead fully seated? Did you clean all the old sealant out of the wheel, especially the rim? Are you running too high a pressure for hookless?

Ultimately, the tire has sealant in it. It should eventually seal. Try putting your weight on the wheel – enough to deform the tire a little bit · and rolling it slowly to see if everything shifts into place.

Do you have an air compressor? It made it much easier for me when seating a tube. Much more reliable than the air shock canister.

  5. Remove everything. Redo the tape. Make sure you CLEAN everything. especially the tire bead and rim surfaces. Dirt will create an inconsistent seal.

  6. Winspace hypers are dope wheels. Had a pair of 1st and 2nd gens.

Bad tape is probably the correct answer. But if the tire is holding most of the pressure, sometimes you just need to spin or ride it for a second and it will figure itself out. Different tires sit and sit uniquely.

I always spin the wheels for a bit after new sealant. More expensive tires are usually tighter so it’s easier. Less expensive tires don’t always seal as well at first. I always had a bead of sealant around my 2nd gen hypers and I needed a charge pump or compressor for the first pump up.

Some sealant sucks too. I like stan’s pro and silca myself.

After re-tape, I usually install a tube first and pump to 90 psi let it stay for 1 or 2 nights, use the tube to pressed the tape nicely. Then only take the tube out and put in sealant. After that pump the tyre to 50 psi, spin the wheel let the sealant to distribute evenly. Then 80 psi and spin the wheel again and leave it there.

  8. Have you given the sealant bottle a good shake before adding it to the tyre?

This happens to me when I forget this step usually, if you don’t shake, the sealing particles are staying at the bottom and you add a thin version that cannot seal that good, this is probably the reason the tyre is losing air at the bead (if it was tape problem you would see leaks at the spoke nipples).
