So very very sad to lose the annual ITV coverage. It was presented by people who understand the sport is more than just cycling. The production and presentation is world class. The ITV connection goes way back to the early 80’s with the World of Sport then in 85 CH4 took over with 30 minutes nightly. Now we are left with the disaster that is TNT and what seems like a group of people who use cycling as an excuse to chat and have a disaster of a fashion show. First thing they can do is scrap the appalling studio breakaway and do finish line interviews as Eurosport did. ITV need to reconsider?
another sport in the UK hiding behind a paywall to generate more cash yet somehow spread the sport to new entrants. Like all sports it is simply feeding the beast that pays it the most and stuff the fans who can't afford to pay them. As ever disgusting in a world where incomes are getting smaller and fee's are getting higher they will be undermined in the end.
One of the saddest days ever…losing free coverage is a national disgrace…we have 16 free shopping channels running 24/7 selling utter crap and yet we can't show one Tour per year….wow….no wonder Brits are brainwashed into domestic and consumer shite instead of being inspired 😢😢😢😢😢
