Any advice on what I’m doing wrong? I really struggle for height and distance while jump and on steep limps I tend to dead sailor. Any advice? 2 jumps in the video.
A couple tips: 1) Extend your legs more perpendicular to the surface of the lip, rather than perpendicular to the ground, and 2) hold that extension until your rear wheel leaves the lip. Right now, you’re getting full extension with your legs and arms, but you’re standing a bit too vertical relative to the ground rather than the lip, and the you’re letting your legs go soft a bit too early, before the rear wheel has left lip, so the front wheel is dropping too soon. Both of those combined are resulting in a very flat arch, which is why you’re not getting much height.

Thanks I’ll try that today!

Don’t worry about it, it’s probly the most frequent problem everyone has. I’ve spent the last 3 years trying to perfect jumping properly and boosting. Here’s what I think might help you.
You push with your legs too early and don’t hold them straight, what happens is you squish the jump.
You need to pull back by moving your hips over your rear wheel ~1 foot before the end of the transition then push with your legs, keep em pushed in until your rear wheel leaves the transition.
There’s no secret to it, keep practicing, filming yourself is great to spot where you need to improve. The shred academy on youtube helped me tremendously!
