Gyro kit has cable that wont fit into lever without either taking housing off or taking barrel adjuster off, cable wont stay in without adjuster and I don't know if I should cut the housing off or not (cant just take it off)

Turn the two pieces of the brake lever until you can see a slot to pass the cable.
Place the cable and after that, turn the pieces again to adjust the cable length.
