Active & Discovery On The Rhone

This is an Avalon River Cruise trip. We go on board the Avalon Poetry II ship in Lyon. From Lyon we travel to the next destination, Tournon. After Tournon we visited Viviers and the highlight on the Rhone River is the Bollene Lock. Avignon is the next stop where we visit the world largest gothic fortress–the 14th century Palace Of the Popes. There is also the famed wine cellars of Chateauneuf-du-Pape where wine tasting is a must. Next destination is Arles, follow by Port-Saint-Louis and back at Arles as the final destination.
