  1. At the shop I work at, lots of people have it on there stem, or there handlebar right next to there stem.

    Yeah, I do. I have a headset spacer with one built in. It’s big and brass and nice.
    Edit: whoops! Sorry. Didn’t read that right. I find the ones on the stem (for me) get in the way of stuff (things I have mounted to the bars or hand movement). I guess I could have mounted it to the underside.

    I actually tried a couple of cheap spacer bells but I lost both after one ride because they just rattled out of the threads. I would use loctite, and be careful with the threads as they seem super easy to strip. Or, you know, buy a better quality one.

  4. I don’t have a bell at all. I avoid riding my bike in places where there are also pedestrians and the roads in the UK are so bad that bells constantly rattle and tinkle annoyingly
