I'm looking to replace my shifter/brake levers because they just don't fit in bar mitts and I'm confused. Are these cantilever brakes with long pull levers? From what I've read, that's not how it's supposed to be. I need short pull levers for these cantilever brakes, right?

Those are short pull levers. Those are the levers that came on that bike.
Matching system. How Shimano planned it.
