Im shopping for used MTBs nearby and there are two enduros I’m interested in this one is 2017 listed for $1000 and a 2015 shockingly listed for $1400. Also several giant 2018 trance 2s and a 2023 trance x3. I think I’m most interested in this Enduro. What would be a reasonable price. The blue book value is around $750.

The enduro is great, I’d see if you can haggle to 750, wouldn’t be a bad deal.
I would offer the blue book value of $750 and see what he says. that thing is rather old and supply has far outpaced demand in the mountain bike world.
I have one of these. It’s a very capable bike for its age. It warms my heart when I pass nicer bikes while riding down black diamond trails.
Depends on the condition of the expensive bits. Primarily suspension and wheels. Im not the guy that spends thousands on drive trains and brakes. Average stuff is fine, but nice wheels and new or fully serviced suspension will be the most noticeable features IMO
