This is a path for both pedestrians and bicycles. I'm pretty sure that in all 50 states that the law dictates bicyclists are to go with the flow of traffic/path of progress. In America, the flow of traffic /path of progressive is on the right hand side. In addition, on any pathway, excluding interstate highways because neither pedestrians or cyclists would be there, bicyclist are to ALWAYS yield to pedestrians.
Here in uk ,we just keep to the left,but theres allways someone thinking astray and begins to get comfortable on the right,making people zig zag around the people walking the other way……theres a sort of dominance over the cyclist as he must give way to pedestrians who do think like zombies
