I used a corkscrew when i still had that kind of bar ends.

Poke through the ends with something sharp and try and wedge it out or pull the edges with pliers

I could not get my S&M ones out. I just pushed them all the way in lol

You can heat up very hot with burner or lighter a metal screw or anything similar or rod.Then stick it in the barend, it should burn the plastic, it is important to not force it and wait till it cools first .Then you should be able to pull it out.

Wine bottle opener with a corkscrew and the two arms makes removing these a breeze

Flat head screw driver and hammer. Angle the screw driver down from the top. Hit it in then you can pry it out against the bar. Take 2 seconds.

Drill a small pilot hole and then use a screw to screw into the bar end. See if that’ll work
