That looks hella over-engineered. For reference, [here is](https://burley.com/products/quick-hitch) the seat post clamp on a Burley Travoy trailer which I’ve used with my Brompton. Yours looks like it would cost ten times as much to make, and I can’t even tell how it clamps.
