I was running 700×55 tires on my Monstercross because I was very much into the look of fat tires and happy that my mechanic could get them in…but after a year so and inspired by the bikes at the parking of Made, I decided to go for a more commuter look and go, for the first time with slick tires (40cc).
Also first time to put fenders on and very excited about rainy days lol.
The bike is flying and I feel like I unlocked the full potential of this frame.
Btw my LBS is Blue Lug.

Nice bike! I’m a convert on mudguards year-round. However, with horizontal dropouts like yours it’ll be a pain each time you remove the rear wheel. This is the reason why Surlys are a no go for me …
